Writing Fiction for Women’s Magazines

Joanna Barnden is running a second course on Writing Fiction for Women’s Magazines.

Joanna is a widely-published short story writer and will be running the full-day workshop on Saturday, September 8, 2007 and has a few places still available. Previous attendees felt that they had made significant progress in tailoring their writing into well-shaped stories that will appeal to a commercial market. It was a lively, fun and stimulating day, helped out by a delicious lunch, and September’s event looks set to be just as good.

If you’re a budding story writer, looking to hone your skills then this could be the day for you. The course is held in a beautiful house in Sutton Bonington, just off junction 24 of the M1, approximately half an hour from Derby and costs £65 for a full day (9.30 am — 4.30 pm) and comprehensive take-home information pack.

If you’re interested, please contact Joanna on 01332 824405 or joannabarnden@tiscali.co.uk.
