Teachers’ TV conducting audience research

Teachers’ TV is a new digital channel aimed at professionals within the Education Sector which aims to help the profession, and research is being conducted to understand what the channel’s target audience think of Teachers’ TV.

The research findings will help direct the future of the channel and ensure that the programming is relevant and applicable to the audience.

By taking part in this research you will help us to evaluate the performance of the channel to check whether the objectives of the channel are being met and that education professionals see the channel as providing:

  • Access to advice and best practice
  • Access to materials and advice for continuing professional development
  • Access to the latest news from the education sector
  • A community for teachers to debate issues and share experiences

To thank-you for your time, for each survey you complete you will be entered into a prize draw, with odds of around 1 in 200 of winning cash prizes from £100 to £1,000!

How you can help

We are involving over 2,000 professionals within schools in this survey. This includes Teachers, Heads (including Deputy and Assistant Heads) and Teaching Assistants. In addition, we are also very interested in the views that Governors have on the channel. Please be sure to forward this email on to any Governors you feel would be happy to participate in this work.

Those who take part will be sent an online survey 6 times per year in which Ipsos MORI will ask questions about a number of programmes or series that have been broadcast on the channel in recent weeks, as well as general questions about the channel itself. So, even if you have watched very little of the channel, please do enter the survey and answer the questions that you can. This should take approximately 10 minutes of your time each month, and as a thank-you, all participants will be entered each month into a Prize Draw to win cash prizes or a donation of £200 to an institution of their choice.

Please click here to answer a few questions about yourself and to sign up to the panel.

In the meantime, should you require any further information please contact the project team at Ipsos MORI at teacherstv@ipsos.com.
