[Poem] Coloured Undergrowth

Dreams from coloured undergrowth
Infested art from beneath
Rich colours invested
Fuelled, inspired
Hearts and beats.
Follow the footsteps of confrontation
A choice thrust upon you

Two hundred drops
Of now.
I sleep so softly in your presence.
Only until this nervousness collects me
A drip of Friday’s obscene reality
The pretence of ecstatic emotion.
